Rome

If you havent visited
Rome you havent lived. The city itself has so much to
offer the visitor, tourists return again and again to this
spellbound Capital. After all, as the saying goes Rome
wasnt built in a day and certainly cant be
visited in a day either!
Amongst the sites that are a must you should visit The Colosseum, The Vatican,
Trevi Fountain, The Old Forum and The Spanish Steps and many other sites of Roman
Historical interest.
Further afield how about an extension to your city break by visiting the ancient
town of Pompei, a town which was literally buried by the lava from Mount Vesuvius
which towers above the city of Naples.
Transfers & Travel Tips
Rome has two International airports, Fumicino and Ciampino. Fumicino airport is linked by train to the city centre, which takes half an hour and costs under £5. A short taxi or metro ride will then complete your transfer to your hotel. Alternatively a taxi will cost approximately £17 from the airport directly to your hotel. Passengers arriving at Ciampino airport can take the airport transfer bus in conjunction with Ryan Air which costs £7. Rome boasts an excellent network of buses, trams and metro, however most of the major attractions and sights are well within walking distance of each other.
