All bookings
made by Travellers Cities Ltd are subject to these terms and conditions.
Any contract is made on them and is subject to English law and exclusive
jurisdiction.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
On coach holidays there is a return cross channel ferry service from Dover
to Calais. There is also an international coach service from either London
Victoria or Dover arriving at Prague which includes all road taxes. On air
holidays, there are direct return flights from the UK to your destination
and accommodation as stated. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis
with private facilities. Services are from a local representative. The price
also includes any local taxes and VAT, where applicable.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Meals en route between the UK and your destination.
Optional sightseeing tours (which can be pre-booked).
Lunch or dinner, unless such meals are pre-booked with your accommodation
or included in your pre-booked sightseeing tours.
Holiday insurance premiums, personal spending money, gratuit, tips and
transfers
In order to save even more on your holiday, a taxi from the airport
will cost considerably less than if you pre-book a return transfer.
Travellers Cities Ltd will accept no responsibility for either delay,
lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Please see insurance details for cover
We will advise when booking if there are more hotels at your desired destination.
All rooms with private facilities have either a shower or bath with WC. All
rooms with a bathroom have only a bath and shower .
BOOKING PROCEDURE
To reserve a holiday just call 01959-540700 and one of our reservations
team will check the availability of the holiday you require through our
computerised system. We will make a provisional reservation for your booking
and this will be confirmed on receipt of your signed booking form and deposit
payment (including insurance premium). Within 10 weeks of departure, full
balance payment will be required. Insurance premiums must be paid when
booking as cover for cancellation is provided immediately upon receipt
of premium. Normally insurance cannot be added after booking has been confirmed.
Sightseeing tours should be reserved when making the booking. Once you
have received your confirmation-invoice, which will be sent after we have
received your booking form, please check carefully to ensure all details
are correct. If there are any queries, please contact our office. If after
you have received your written confirmation-invoice and your deposit has
been received by our company, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday
and retain all monies paid; if the balance has not been received by our
company within the given 70 days balance agreement which is a part of your
holiday contract. The action of non payment would therefore repudiate your
holiday contract.
ACCOMMODATION
Unless stated, holiday prices are normally quoted on two persons sharing
a twin room. We also have single, triple and family rooms. Please ask our
reservations staff on 01959-540700 for further details and quotations.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Holding a UK passport with at six months to run after your return journey
is sufficient to enter the countries we operate in. Please note that British
Visitor Passports (e.g. yearly) are not valid. Non UK passport holders
must contact the embassy of their destination country with regard to Visa
requirements. There may be a small charge made for such Visas. Travellers
Cities Ltd cannot be held responsible for any refusals to gain entry into
the country or destination, or be responsible for delays in issuing of
Visas by the authorities. The same aplies for Belgium, France, the Netherlands,
Germany and for the Czech Republic when travelling by coach. Please note
that Travellers Cities Ltd will not be held responsible in any way, shape
or form for refusals by customs and immigration staff for entry into any
of our destinations, including passports not being valid with regards the
expiry time.
CHANGES BY US
The Travellers Cities* holiday programme is contracted many months in advance
and occasionally changes may unfortunately occur. With minor changes, we
will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible before departure. With
major changes such as a change of Hotel or Pension, we will endeavour to
provide reasonable alternative accommodation of an equal or higher standard.
In the unlikely event that a cancellation of your holiday becomes necessary
we will endeavour to contact you immediately. You will have the choice
of accepting an alternative holiday (subject to availability) or a full
refund of monies paid. Travellers Cities Ltd reserves the right to cancel
holidays at any time and our liability will be a refund of all monies paid.
If cancellation of your holiday is by 'force majeure"
e.g. natural disasters, war, civil strife, industrial disputes, adverse
weather, government action, terrorist activity, fire, epidemics or other
similar event beyond our control, we cannot accept any liability for any
monies you have paid to us at the time of cancellation or alteration. In
the event of cancellation, under such circumstances, we reserve the right
to return all monies paid less reasonable expense. Please note that Travellers
Cities* will not be held in any way responsible for changes, of departure
timings or arrival timings of flights, ferries, transfers or coaches. Nor
are we responsible for any closures of any "nightspots", sightseeing
tours, public transport systems due to national holidays etc, and any other
reason beyond our operational control. Sightseeing tours may also be withdrawn
due to lack of demand
CHANGES BY YOU
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your holiday please see the
chart below. Please remember that our insurance policy covers many
of the circumstance around cancellations However, an amendment fee
of £25.00 per person
applies when bringing forwads a departure date. If it is changed to a more
popular season then the higher fare will apply plus the amendment fee .
Postponing to a later date is treated as a full cancellation and re-booking
with the necessary charges listed below. Please note that any change in
dates or routes with air holidays is treated as a full cancellation once
confirmed in writing.
FINANCIAL GUARANTEE
In accordance with EU regulations, all advance payments for coach holidays
are paid into a designated trust account with our bankers, where all monies
will remain until clients have returned home to the UK.
COMPLAINTS
Naturally enough our aim is to ensure a trouble free holiday. However if
you do have a complaint please firstly contact our agents in resort (the
telephone number, contactable during normal office hours will be in your
itinerary or accommodation voucher). If this is not possible or you are
not satisfied, please then contact our agents and/or thirdly ourselves,
on our UK office telephone number 44-1959-540700. We will try to remedy
the problem whilst you are on holiday. If the matter can not be resolved
you should write to the Customer Relations officer with your booking number
within 28 days of your return. It would help if you give us the most complete
details possible, and if possible you should obtain a written report from
our agents.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR
If the behaviour of a member of any party is considered likely to cause
offence, danger or distress to others we reserve the right at all times
to cancel or terminate a holiday completely. The company will then be under
no obligation to cover expenses incurred and neither will we consider or
accept any claims for compensation or refunds what so ever.
CANCELLATION TABLE
The cancellation schedule below comes into force when you cancel you
holiday. Your confirmation and invoice will be sent to you once we recieve
a completed booking form. All confirmations and invoices are dated by our
company and the following scale of cancellation charges and rebooking charges
will apply before your planned date of departure.

YOUR SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
At Travellers Cities Ltd we take your credit card/debit card security very seriously. Identity theft is unfortunately one of the fastest growing crimes. With that in mind we would like to point out the following safety measures in place. Confidentiality is the key to you our valued client therefore we have implemented the following four point plan for your security.
1. Your card details are never requested on our website but only by one of our reservation team on the following telephone number 01959 540700.
2. Your personal and credit/debit card details are never given to any third party.
3. Under the Data Protection Act, no details are utilised in any way shape or form apart from the consenting transaction of your travel plans with Travellers Cities Ltd.
4. When making a booking with our company, an official invoice and confirmation is issued by Travellers Cities Ltd which pertains to your booking and will be sent to your given address in writing. Your booking number will be shown on your invoice and confirmation.
