Really two cities in one,
Buda on the left bank of the river Danube and Pest on the right
which can almost be classed as two Capitals. Considered to
be the crossroads of Europe between east and west this particular
city of culture is waiting to be explored.
Whilst in Budapest a visit to the Fisherman’s Bastion, Castle Hill area
and Royal Palace all located on the Buda side of the Danube should not be missed.
Likewise, on the Pest side of the river you should also visit the Parliament
building, Opera House, National Museum and Heroes Square. Two of the most famous
bridges linking Buda and Pest across the mighty Danube are the Elizabeth and
Chain bridges. For those of you interested in shopping, a trip down Vaci Utca,
Budapest’s most famous shopping street is a must.

Transfers to/from Budapest Airport. Airport bus service costs approx. £2.00 one way, taxis vary between destination from £5 to £10 one way. Local transportation is inexpensive, frequent and reliable. Taxis are plentiful and speedy!
