Bratislava can truly boast to be named the Capital at the Crossroads of Europe. Lying on the majestic River Danube, the city itself rich in history, culture and romance - this Capital is small by western standards. However this should not put the traveller off in visiting this enchanting City with its versatile ambience. Located so close to Austria and Hungary dominated by the fine St. Martin's Cathedral where Kings and Queens were crowned. Also a must see is Primate's Palace, here you will find some well preserved tapestries with its link to bygone days in an area of Europe. Narrow cobbled streets of the 'Old Town', inviting and charming where restaurants, bars and some of the most enchanting wine cellars you could of dreamed of. This is Bratislava, an hour from Vienna by train which is a great day trip.
